OOTD Layering Up in Naromode

Saturday, 18 October 2014

I don't know about you but I can't quite believe we're halfway through October already, October is one of my favourite months as the weather gets colder and of course not forgetting one of my favourite holidays Halloween! Earlier this month I headed through to Glasgow for the Naromode Sample Sale I've been supporting the hugely talented Anna and Iain from Naromode since I first laid eyes on their beautiful debut collection The White Snake. I love that their pieces bring fashion and literature together through beautiful illustration, excitingly I now finally own a dress from the original collection and it is an absolute beauty!

Jumper: H&M
Jacket: H&M (similar)
I've always been a bit apprehensive about outfit posts on this 'ere blog, mainly because I'm the most awkward poser ever! But hey I felt todays outfit deserved a little blog time and exposure, especially the newest addition to my Naromode collection my 'Nicola' dress
Forever making the weirdest eyebrow expressions...

The print is easily my favourite and I love it so much, it's so witchy and pretty!
I'm not much of a fan of real life ants, in fact I'm pretty terrified of them; ants freak me out so much! But strangely I love them in this print, the cut of the dress is super flattering and easy to dress up or down too, perfect huh?!

Dress: Naromode
Boots: M&S (old)

If you haven't checked out Naromode yet I urge you to do so, their new collection Little Snow White is incredibly beautiful, I love the darker tone of the illustrations and can't wait to add a piece (or two) from that collection to my wardrobe. I'm all for supporting local businesses and designers and finding incredibly beautiful clothes to boot, I've already received so many compliments on this dress already and the quality is top-notch too! Naromode recently won MadefromScotland's Graduate Design competition (along with Lucie Hunter Jewellery) another reason to check out their designs.
